1
UBC — Used Beverage Cans Taldon
+

Used beverage cans are one of the purest, highest-value aluminium scrap streams. Sorted and baled post-consumer cans — primarily alloy 3104 body and 5182 lid — deliver outstanding closed-loop recovery, returning directly to new can sheet with minimal alloy loss. We accept baled UBC from recycling centres, beverage manufacturers, and municipalities. Bale weight typically 650–800 kg. Material must be free of steel cans, plastic, and non-metallic waste.

2
Aluminium Extrusion (6063 / 6061) Candy / Clift
+

Clean aluminium extrusion profiles, off-cuts, and sections from window frames, door frames, curtain walling, heat sinks, and structural components. The dominant grade is 6063 (Mg-Si), an excellent remelt feedstock for extrusion billet and ingot. We accept bundles, cut lengths, and baled extrusion. Material must be free of steel fixings, gaskets, and glass. Mixed 6063/6061 is accepted at a slight discount. Anodised or lacquered extrusion is classified as Taint.

Form
Loose bundles, cut lengths, baled
Alloy Series
6063, 6061
End Use
Extrusion billet, alloy ingot
3
Taint / Tabor — Painted & Mixed Aluminium Taint/Tabor
+

Taint/Tabor covers mixed aluminium sheet and extrusion with surface coatings — painted automotive sheet, lacquered building cladding, anodised sections, and printed packaging. The organic surface coating requires thermal de-coating before furnace charging, which reduces recovery yield compared to clean grades. We accept painted siding, coated coil, and mixed painted scrap. Material must not contain steel panels, composite cladding (ACM), or non-aluminium panels. Priced on a net-after-de-coating basis.

Form
Loose, baled, shredded
Alloy Series
Mixed 1xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx
End Use
Alloy ingot (post de-coating)
4
Aluminium Wheels (Cast Alloy) Zorba / clean cast
+

Cast aluminium alloy wheels from passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and motorcycles are premium scrap feedstock. Predominantly A356 (equivalent to LM25) and A380 alloy — high silicon content and excellent mechanical properties make wheel scrap ideal for die-casting alloy ingot production. We accept whole wheels, cut wheels, and shredded wheel scrap. Steel valve stems, tyre pressure sensors, and rubber tyre residue should be removed. Painted or lacquered finish is acceptable — thermal de-coating is included in our process.

Form
Whole, cut, or shredded
Alloy Series
A356 / A380 type
End Use
Premium die-casting alloy ingot
5
Tense — Engine Blocks & Castings Tense
+

Cast aluminium engine blocks, cylinder heads, inlet manifolds, sump pans, and gearbox housings from end-of-life vehicles and machinery are collectively graded as Tense. These components carry high silicon content (ADC12 / A380 equivalent), making them excellent feedstock for secondary alloy ingot production. Iron liners, steel bolts, rubber gaskets, and oil residue must be removed or minimised. Material is de-ironed magnetically, inspected, and processed through our rotary furnace. We accept material from ELV processors, automotive dismantlers, and machinery recyclers.

Form
Loose castings, mixed sizes
Alloy Series
ADC12, A380 equivalent
End Use
Secondary alloy ingot, die casting
6
Aluminium Wire — Electrical Conductor Tread / EC grade
+

Clean aluminium wire from overhead power transmission lines, electrical distribution cables, and motor windings is graded as EC (Electrical Conductor) or 1350 alloy — one of the purest aluminium scrap grades at 99.5%+ Al. Free of insulation, steel core strands, connectors, and corrosion, EC wire commands a premium over mixed grades. Aluminium conductor steel-reinforced cable (ACSR) is accepted at a lower grade due to the steel core. We handle coil, cut lengths, and baled wire from utilities, cable recyclers, and ELV processors.

Form
Coils, baled, cut lengths
Alloy Series
1350 EC / 1100 series
End Use
Wire rod, extrusion billet, ingot
7
Aluminium Sheet & Plate Clipp / Tablet
+

Clean aluminium sheet, plate, and coil off-cuts from manufacturing operations — automotive body panels, aerospace skin, food-grade packaging sheet, and building cladding. Covers 1xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx, and 6xxx series in various thicknesses. Material must be free of steel fastenings, paint (for Clipp grade), and non-metallic lamination. Thinner automotive sheet (0.8–1.5 mm) and thick marine plate (5083) are graded separately. We accept new production off-cuts, stamping blanks, and skeletal waste from sheet metal shops.

Form
Bundles, baled, cut lengths
Alloy Series
1050, 3003, 5052, 5083, 6061
End Use
Ingot, rolling slab, billet
8
Aluminium Turnings & Borings Twitch (post-processing)
+

Machined aluminium turnings, swarf, and borings from CNC machining, turning, and drilling operations. Turnings carry fine surface area, making them susceptible to oxidation and oil contamination — cutting oils and coolant must be removed by centrifuging or de-oiling before charging to avoid furnace flare-up and yield loss. Briquetted turnings are preferred for efficient handling. We accept 6xxx and 2xxx series turnings from aerospace, automotive, and general engineering. Priced on a net dry-metal basis accounting for moisture and oil content.

Form
Loose, centrifuged, briquetted
Alloy Series
6xxx, 2xxx, mixed
End Use
Alloy ingot (after de-oiling)
9
Old Cast Aluminium (OCS) Taint / Tense mixed
+

Old cast aluminium covers miscellaneous domestic, commercial, and industrial cast scrap — cookware, furniture fittings, garden furniture, brackets, lamp posts, and machine parts. Alloy is typically 2xx.x, 3xx.x, or 4xx.x cast series with moderate contamination and varying silicon content. Material is visually sorted and de-ironed before furnace charging. We accept mixed OCS by weight; heavily painted or corroded material is downgraded. This is a high-volume, widely available scrap stream suitable for general alloy ingot production.

Form
Loose, mixed sizes
Alloy Series
Mixed cast 2xx.x – 4xx.x series
End Use
General alloy ingot
10
Zorba — Shredded Mixed Aluminium Zorba
+

Zorba is the mixed aluminium fraction recovered from auto shredder residue (ASR) via eddy current separation. It contains a blend of cast, wrought, and coated aluminium alloys from shredded end-of-life vehicles and white goods. Zorba requires further sensor-based or density sorting (Twitch separation) to achieve clean alloy streams before premium remelting use. We buy Zorba from auto shredding facilities and trade it to specialist secondary smelters. Material is priced on a per-tonne basis with yield deductions for magnesium, zinc, and non-metallic impurities.

Form
Shredded, loose, ~25–75 mm
Alloy Series
Mixed 1xxx–7xxx
End Use
Sorted into clean grades, alloy ingot
11
Aluminium Foil Taint (foil grade)
+

Post-consumer and industrial aluminium foil — food packaging, pharmaceutical blister packs, capacitor foil, and flexible packaging laminates. Very thin gauge (6–200 µm) and often laminated with plastic film, paper, or lacquer, which requires de-lamination and de-coating before remelting. Recovery yield is lower than thicker gauge scrap due to oxide skin. Food-grade, unlacquered household foil is the cleanest variety; multi-layer packaging foil requires more processing. We accept baled foil from food manufacturers, packaging companies, and waste processors.

Form
Loose, baled, roll scrap
Alloy Series
1xxx, 8xxx series
End Use
Alloy ingot (post-processing)
12
MLC — Mainly Lump Castings MLC
+

Mainly Lump Castings (MLC) is a premium heavy cast aluminium grade — large, clean aluminium castings from industrial machinery, hydraulic equipment, pump bodies, electric motor housings, and heavy engineering. High silicon content, low contamination, and substantial unit weight make MLC an efficient, high-yield smelter charge. No de-coating required; a magnetic de-iron pass is standard. We actively source MLC from machinery recyclers, industrial plant clearances, and engineering scrap dealers. Priced above standard cast grades due to low processing overhead.

Form
Loose, heavy lumps
Alloy Series
3xx.x cast series
End Use
Premium secondary alloy ingot
